Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Last week, I had the privilege of representing all of you at our 37th National Convention. It was a very productive week, during which we completed a multitude of changes to our Constitution and Bylaws that will help our union continue to grow in both numbers and strength.
Our Executive Board members all ran unopposed, and I truly believe we have the best leadership team possible to move our union in the right direction.
Our Local was also presented with an award recognizing our contribution levels to the MNPL. I was honored to accept this award on behalf of all of you.
Your contributions to the MNPL are extremely important to protecting our jobs and retirement. These donations help support legislation that benefits our members and have been vital in promoting the new Railway Safety Act and addressing important Railroad Retirement issues.
Your continued help and support are greatly appreciated, and I want to sincerely thank each and every one of you for your commitment to our union.
I would also ask that if you know of members who are not currently contributing to this vital fund, please take the time to talk with them about how important the MNPL is to all of us.
